New year, new flavor. We start off the 2012 Wifey campaign with the lovely Karen Tysin of Thai descent from Las Vegas, NV. The 24 year old Administrative Assistant has been modeling for a few years now and can be seen via print, videos, promotional events and more. With a primary focus in the real estate management field, Karen hopes to one day own a successful apartment property in Los Angeles, CA.

“I would like to have more positive exposure… and would love establish a name for myself. My main goal is to be a role model for those women who struggle with insecurities and find themselves helpless, [especially] being involved in a controlled situation, as far as an abusive (physically, mentally, and/or emotionally) relationship. I’ve personally went through so much in my short time, and I changed my life around. I would love for women to speak with me about their issues. I find joy in helping and motivating women who want to change their lives.”

Her favorite models are Tyra Banks and Kimora Lee, with her top designers being Chanel and Louis Vuitton. As far as the music realm, Karen currently enjoys Trey Songz, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyonce, and India Arie.

She has been featured in various print magazines, alongside a Thai beauty pageant, Lamar Odom’s All-Star Promotion, the Magic Trade Show, and being a spokesmodel for Federal Tires. Karen enjoys makeup, shopping, stretching, reading, and striving for the best. “Even if you have to stand alone, you don’t settle for less.”
